Today Naughty Dog announced two events that will be coming to their hit third person shooter Uncharted 4: A Thief's End this weekend.

First of, the developer will be activating double XP for every competitive and Survival match completed.

In addition to the double XP, Naughty Dog announced that the beta test for Classic Mode will be returning for the weekend as well. In Classic Mode, players will find gameplay similar to the multiplayer that came with Uncharted 2: Among Thieves. That means no radar, no in-game store, no mystical items, no sidekicks, and no downed state. It was made clear that double XP would also be obtainable in Classic Mode as well.

Players can get back-to-basics in this Beta Test that focuses on core combat and movement.

Finally, Naughty Dog will be offering all Uncharted Point items for half off their original price. This includes chests, taunts, character skins, weapons, and more. This saving applies to bundled items as well, meaning that, depending on what you purchase, your total savings could amount to 67% off.

The special events should be up as soon as you boot up your game, and they should last until Tuesday, May 30th, 2017. At the time of this writing, it's unknown at what specific time on Tuesday the events will end.

Uncharted 4: A Thief's End was released on May 10th, 2016, exclusively for the PlayStation 4.
