Episode 3 of Dr Stone Season 3 is just around the corner, and the official website of the series has released the synopsis for the upcoming episode, including a few preview images. According to the synopsis, the new episode will see Chiku and her companions use a camera they acquired to capture aerial photos of the area from a balloon.
However, even with the photos, Chiku and her companions fail to locate the oil field. In the meantime, Francois will go on a search for wild boars, truffles, and watermelons to gather ingredients for cooking, inspiring Senku to consider using the wild boars to locate the oil fields. While working on this plan, someone will disrupt Chiku's communication by testing out a new scientific device.

Dr Stone Season 3 Episode 2 Recap
In the previous episode of Dr Stone, the crew successfully made bread, but they needed a professional chef to perfect the recipe. With the stock of Revival Fluid empty, they had to find a way to obtain more. Ryusui suggested that they contact Minami, who has some Revival Fluid in her possession. Gen convinced Minami to reveal her stash by pretending that Senku promised her an exclusive story. Minami revealed her stash and asked if they were going to revive a chef next.
A group consisting of Taiju, Yuzuriha, and the others went back to the island, where they found Ryusui. There, they also found Ryusui's butler, Francois, and revived him. Francois immediately got ready for the task and headed to the village without assistance, where he saw the burnt bread. Francois understood the situation and suggested Stollen for the menu.
The bread-making process resumed, and Kohaku captured some goats to make goat butter. Senku, Ryusui, and Francois knead the dough and stuff it with dried fruit preserved in alcohol. Senku upgraded the baking furnace to handle the high temperatures while adding water for steam condensation. Francois was highly impressed with Senku's advancements in science and became determined, along with Ryusui, to revive the Nanami Conglomerate and establish their dominance in the new world.
After the successful baking of the Stollen, the Ishigami villagers were amazed by its taste. Minami then reminded Senku of the promise he made to her in exchange for her Revival Fluid. To fulfill his promise, Senku enlisted Kaseki's help in creating a camera, and Minami drove him to the location on the Steam Gorilla. Senku and Chrome worked on developing a mirror made out of sodium hydroxide, silver, ammonia, glass, and glucose. Finally, Senku presented Minami with the promised gift, a daguerreotype camera.
Ryusui suggested aerial photography to draw a new map. Minami wanted the first picture and chose Senku. They dressed him in various outfits until Minami picked a pose. Senku and Ryusui took pictures on the balloon, and Chrome developed the film, resulting in a good picture of Senku. Minami explained the pose as that of the world's most famous scientist.
