With Dragon Age: Inquisition garnering numerous “Game of the Year” awards and “Top 10” listings during its release last year, those that may have played the latest in Bioware’s Dragon Age series on last-gen consoles that may be looking to upgrade to a new console are in luck, with Inquisition‘s DLC now available to carry over to the new consoles for free.

Bioware announced in post on the official Dragon Age website that the recently-released Jaws of Hakkon DLC will now be made available for Cross-Buy support, allowing those that played and purchased the DLC for Dragon Age: Inquisition on PS3 or Xbox 360 to download the DLC again for free on PS4 or Xbox One.

While players will still need to purchase a new copy of Dragon Age: Inquisition on a current-gen platform, the DLC will still be eligible to be downloaded for free on the new console, as long as it remains within the same family of consoles as the original system it was purchased on (Xbox 360 to Xbox One, or PS3 to PS4).

Dragon Age: Inquisition is available now on PS4, Xbox One, PS3, Xbox 360, and PC.
