Bandai Namco has given us our first look at Dragon Ball FighterZ's next DLC character, Android 17, in action via some screenshots. Earlier this week the company teased fans on their official Twitter account. Alongside the new character, we'll also be receiving our first new stage.

Android 17 will be the final DLC character in Dragon Ball FighterZ, alongside Cooler. If you're not caught up with Dragon Ball Super, this version of 17 is from that show, not the original Dragon Ball Z. According to the game's official Japanese website, he'll be a speed-focused character, and his "Super Electric Strike" will be included in his move-set.

As with all DLC characters, we'll hopefully be receiving a new trailer prior to his release highlighting some of his supers and combos. Android 17 is the 32nd character on the game's roster. I don't think I speak for just myself here when I say that I hope we start to receive more characters once Dragon Ball FighterZ's one year anniversary rolls around.

Both upcoming DLC characters will probably be launching alongside Cooler on September 28. You can pick the android up for $4.99 or he's included in the game's season pass for $34.99. Dragon Ball FighterZ is available right now via Xbox One, PS4, and PC. The game will be coming to Nintendo Switch on September 28. You can pre-order the Switch version on Amazon right now.
