Today, during a broadcast straight from GameStop Expo in Las Vegas, Bandai Namco showcased some gameplay of Dragon Ball FighterZ.

We get to see quite a few characters in action, including the recently announced Android 18 and Android 16, on top of Piccolo, Krillin, Trunks, Vegeta and Goku.

The gameplay looks great, as you would expect from a fighting game developed by Arc System Works, and you can check it out below.

It's certainly very different from what we have gotten use to with the Xenoverse series, and probably more appropriate to the Dragon Ball anime and manga, with its lovely 2D art style.

If you want to see more, you can enjoy a trailer revealing Super Saiyan Blue Goku and Super Saiyan Blue Vegeta, another focusing on the androids, the reveal of Trunks,  the first trailer, a gameplay trailermore gameplay videos, and a further video with about fifty minutes of gameplay.

The game will come out in early 2018 for PS4, Xbox One and PC, but the producer doesn’t seem to be opposed to a Switch port if there’s a demand for it.
