Over the weekend, Bandai Namco hosted the latest episode of their Dragon Ball FighterZ show. There, the team gave us our first look at three of the five characters coming with the next set of DLC. As you might expect, Goku was involved, but there was also a banger of a reveal in the one and only Master Roshi. Give the old man's debut video a watch below.

That's quite the start for the next batch of characters coming to Dragon Ball FighterZ. Both Kefla and Goku (Ultra Instinct) are out now, while Roshi is scheduled to drop next month. I suppose you could complain that this is the seventh version of Goku. Maybe, just maybe, they could find somebody else. That said, Master Roshi makes up any slight disappointment you might be feeling.

Importantly, there are two more slots on that character roadmap. Bandai Namco is keeping those close to the chest for now, but we shouldn't have to wait too much longer to find out who they are. Personally, I'm holding out hope for Mr. Satan to join and give Roshi another old guy to team up with.

And, in a less popular choice, I'd love for them to get proper stupid and put Yarijobe in. That little turd would be a great joke character. I've also seen someone float the idea of Bulma in a mech, and I'm equally down for that.

Dragon Ball FighterZ is available now on Nintendo Switch, PC, PS4, and Xbox One. As mentioned above, Kefla and new Goku are out now. Meanwhile, Master Roshi comes next month.
