EVO began today, so Bandai Namco Entertainment has surprised Dragon Ball FighterZ fans with some exciting news. The developers need to test the servers of Dragon Ball FighterZ for Nintendo Switch before it launches next month, so they are holding an Open Beta on the system next week.

This Open Beta will run from 9pm PT on August 9 until 11:59pm PT on August 11. That being said, you can pre-load the beta's game client from the Nintendo eShop starting today so you'll be able to jump into the Open Beta as Soon as it starts.

According to Bandai Namco Entertainment, this Open Beta will give players access to a majority of the game's roster, 23 to be exact. As for content, players will be able to learn the game in it Practice Battle Tutorial and then test out their skills in Arena Match, Ring Match, and Ring Party Match. Dragon Ball FighterZ is going to launch for Nintendo Switch 0n September 28, and you can currently pre-order it on Amazon. The game is also available on PC, PS4, and Xbox One and will be receiving Base Goku and Base Vegeta as DLC characters soon.
