Dragon Ball Super is close to completing its "Granolah the Survivor" story arc after putting Vegeta and Goku against Gas. In the previous chapter, Vegeta gets back to his Ultra Ego transformation, whereas Goku uses his Ultra Instinct form. Gas still overwhelms Vegeta, but the Saiyan Prince refuses to go down. Vegeta states that Gas' attacks are serving as fuel for his Ultra Ego form. Now, everyone is eager to see the conclusion of this fight in Chapter 85 of Dragon Ball Super.

Dragon Ball Super Chapter 85 is still a few days away from its official release, but some spoilers for the upcoming chapter are out. According to the leaks, Gas will keep punching Vegeta, and the Saiyan will embrace every attack to become more powerful. After a while, Vegeta lands a powerful punch on Gas, so he uses the teleportation technique to take Vegeta wherever he wants.

Goku watches the fight from a distance and wonders if Vegeta has a strategy in mind. Vegeta asks Goku to get away from the fight and truly understand his Ultra Instinct form. Now, Goku returns to his base form and thinks about a strategy to defeat Gas. Meanwhile, Vegeta gets up after getting beaten up by Gas, proving he has no limits. However, Vegeta suddenly runs out of juice and returns to his base form. Gas creates a sword from his Ki and moves forward to stab Vegeta. Fortunately, Goku defends Vegeta by creating a shield, which breaks Gas' sword.

Gas is unable to destroy Goku's shield, so he asks the Saiyan to come forward and fight. Goku now opens his eyes and starts smiling, implying that he finally found a way to defeat Gas. Goku now powers up to get into his Ultra Instinct Sign form. Gas wonders why Goku is using a weaker version of Ultra Instinct form, to which Goku replies that in this form, he can use his emotion in the fight. Ultra Instinct, on the other hand, would require him to put his mind to peace, which wasn't exactly working against Gas.

Gas looks at Goku's expressions and remembers Bardock, which triggers his PTSD. Nevertheless, Gas keeps attacking Goku, but surprisingly, Goku overpowers him and breaks his horns. Goku confirms that he is finally more powerful than Gas, but he must end this fight quickly. Well, that's where the chapter will reportedly end.

Several Dragon Ball Super fans think that Akira Toriyama has dragged the Granolah arc for far too long. On the other hand, the community is frustrated seeing how Vegeta is always sidelined by Goku. For once, fans want to see Vegeta winning a fight. But unfortunately, we don't see it happening anytime soon. So, readers want this story arc to end quickly, and by the looks of it, we are only one or two chapters away from getting the closure to this story.
