Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 Extra Pack 4 Releasing Tomorrow

Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 will be receiving Extra Pack 4 tomorrow across all platforms, introducing Broly and SSGSS Gogeta as playable characters.

Bandai Namco Entertainment will be releasing Extra Pack 4 for Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 tomorrow, December 19, 2018 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC.

This Extra Pack 4 includes two new playable characters, both from the upcoming Dragon Ball Super film: Broly (Full Power Super Saiyan) and SSGSS Gogeta (the fused form of Goku and Vegeta after performing the fusion dance.) Gogeta was teased earlier this month and Broly before that. Extra Pack 4 can be purchased separately or as part of the Extra Pass.

Five new parallele quests will be added to your log, based on the Dragon Ball Super: Broly films as well. One even appears to be a fusion matchup with Vegito taking on Gogeta. Some new costumes include Gogeto and Broly clothes. The Tournament of Power arena is a new stage. Lastly eight skills and fifteen super souls will be added to the game as well.

Other free updates on the way include Crystal Raid in which you get a major power boost and assume the role of a boss character in order to face off against five other players online. In this mode you can also play as major villains from the game, such as Demon God Demigra, Fused Zamasu (Half-Corrupted), and Mira (Final Form).  Goku and Vegeta’s winter clothes from Dragon Ball Super: Broly will be added as costumes your character can wear as well as Broly’s wig, Videl’s and Android 18’s costumes, and a Christmas Santa costume. A photo mode with various filter settings is also on the way, bringing the game in line with a growing trend among games this generation having a feature in which you can easily share edited moments from your game.

Broly was previously in the game only as an NPC who could teach the player some of his moves that he will now utilize himself in-game: Gigantic Rage, Gigantic Roar, and Gigantic Charge.

Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 launched on October 25, 2016 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and on PC two days after and came to Nintendo Switch even later on September 22, 2017. You can watch Extra Pack 4 footage showing off Broly and Gogeta in action as well as the missions, online mode, and costumes coming tomorrow in the trailer below.
