Today Bandai Namco released a new commercial of the upcoming Nintendo Switch version of Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2.

The commercial focuses on the features specific to the Nintendo Switch port, including the ability of using the Joy-Con controllers to mimic a Kamehameha and other special moves from the series, in order to launch them in game. It's also possible to parry attacks from bosses, and to look all kinds of silly while you do that, pretty much like in VR.

We also get to see local multiplayer, which is supported up to six players.

You can enjoy the commercial below. It's brief but intense. If you want to see more, you can also enjoy a recent full-fledged trailer.

The trailer is in Japanese, so it features the Japanese release date, which is September 7th, but Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 is also coming to Nintendo Switch in the west a few days later, on September 22nd.

If you care for the Dragon Ball franchise in general, but prefer Xbox One, PS4 or PC, Bandai Namco is also working on Dragon Ball FighterZ. You can watch a few new screenshots featuring the introduction of Piccolo and Krillin, a trailer revealing Trunks, and fifty minutes of gameplay.
