During Tokyo Game Show 2019, publisher Bandai Namco Entertainment shared more information on the upcoming launch of Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot after confirming that the game will arrive in Japan and the west in January 2020. Specifically, Bandai Namco shared a bit more info on the premium editions and pre-order content that players can get with the game's launch across the Standard, Deluxe, Ultimate, and Collector's Editions.

Pre-orders for all versions of Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot will provide players with a special side mission called "A Competitive Party with Friends," along with early access to content featuring the character Bonyu, who is a new character that was designed by the series' legendary artist Akira Toriyama, along with a special cooking boost item.

Outside of the standard edition of the game ($59.99), the Deluxe Edition of Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot ($84.99) provides players with the game's Season Pass for additional new story content after launch, along with a music pack that features 11 additional songs from the anime.

The Ultimate Edition of the game ($94.99) features the content of the Deluxe Edition alongside an additional item called the Tao Pai Pai Pillar that will presumably provide players with additional in-game benefits. Finally, the Collector's Edition of the game ($199.99) features the standard edition of the game alongside a collectible SteelBook case, a hardcover artbook, and an exclusive diorama figurine of Goku and Gohan.

Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot will release for PS4, Xbox One, and PC in January 2020, and you can pre-order the game now over on Amazon. For a closer look at the game's pre-order bonuses and Collector's Edition, you can check out the images below:
