Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot Features a Brand New Character Named Bonyu
Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot will feature a brand new character named Bonyu that was designed by Akira Toriyama.
Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot keeps learning better and better as we see more and more of the game. While we know it will mainly be adapting Dragon Ball Z, it is not completely devoid of new content. Like Android 21 in Dragon Ball FighterZ before it, Akira Toriyama has designed a brand new character named Bonyu for Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot.
According to Bandai Nacmo, Bonyu used to be the sixth member of the Ginyu Force, but she is no longer with the group. She is a red-skinned member of the Brench-seijin race and sports a long ponytail in addition to the battle armor one would expect a former Ginyu Force member to have. Not much else is known about her character at this time, though Bandai Namco Entertainment is promising that Bonyu will play a big part in one of Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot’s major sidequests.
Until we learn more about her, you can check out the first official art of Bonyu below beside some screenshots from the Cell Arc. Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot will release for PC, PS4, and Xbox One sometime in 2020. You can learn more about Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot through DualShockers’ preview from E3 2019, and it can also pre-ordered right now on Amazon if you are interested.
