Bandai Namco revealed new details on Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot. Mostly on how the game adapts the Cell arc, playable characters and a new original character appearing the game.

Most notably we learned that Trunks and Gohan will be among the playable characters during the Cell arc. During the arc, the game will also have multiple new scenes, not from the manga or anime, featuring Android 16 and Gohan. This isn't surprising seeing their interactions are one of the biggest reasons behind Gohan's development in the arc.

We also learned that the anime filler episode with Goku and Piccolo getting their driver's license will be adapted as a driving minigame in Dragon Ball Z Kakarot.

Lastly, one of Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot's new original character is called Ponyu. She's described as a sexy character with a nice figure, who's part of the same race as Jeice of the Ginyu Force squadron. She was part of the squadron too but didn't want to do their iconic pose and quit.

All the info above is from magazine scans, so we'll get to see all that either when Bandai Namco publishes some new screenshots or a new trailer. Bandai Namco also published two new Dragon Ball Z Kakarot gameplay videos on YouTube. They're included below.

Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot will launch for PS4, Xbox One, and PC sometime in early 2020. you can pre-order the game now over on Amazon.
