Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot Will Have Playable Vegito During Buu Saga

Upcoming action RPG on PS4, Xbox One, and PC Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot will let us play as Goku and Vegeta's Potara fusion Vegito.

October 17, 2019

After the confirmation of Broly (DBS Super) coming to Dragon Ball FighterZ and Android 21 coming to Xenoverse 2, further info has leaked from the next issue of V Jump, releasing on October 21.  In the magazine, Bandai Namco and CyberConnect 2 revealed new Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot info: Gohan will be playable again during the Buu Arc, along with Vegito.

Gohan is already playable in previous arcs of the game, so it’s not surprising. However, it’s the first time we hear about Goku and Vegeta’s Potara fusion being playable in the upcoming action RPG.

We got all these characters confirmed as playable so far: Goku, Gohan (Kid, Teen, and now Adult) Vegeta, Piccolo, Trunks (During Cell Saga), and now we have Vegito during Buu Saga. Support characters include Krillin, Tien Shinhan, Chiaotzu and Yamcha.

Bandai Namco also revealed through the magazine that Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot has a “Community system”. When clearing quests, various characters will reward the player with their “Soul Emblem”. Placing these Soul Emblems on the Community Board menu will unlock various stat boosts for your character. It’s basically the power of friendship found in every JRPG.

Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot  is coming out on January 17 on PC, Xbox One and PS4. You can check the latest trailer and gameplay videos here and here. You can preorder it on Amazon.
