Bandai Namco published new screenshots for upcoming RPG Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot, illustrating the Buu Saga. The screenshots most notably show Adult Gohan and Vegito. Vegito was confirmed to be among the game's playable characters a few days ago. Which makes sense seeing both Goku and Vegeta are playable.

The screenshots most notably show the Community Board and the Soul Emblem game systems. Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot's characters are sorted into various communities, and for example, we have the "Z Warriors" community, which includes Goku, Gohan, Vegeta, Trunks, Piccolo, and Tien (support character and not playable). Raising the level of this community will procure various bonus effects for these characters. Moreover, by setting Soul Emblems on a specific Community's Board, the playable characters of this Community will receive stat bonuses. Soul Emblems of a specific character can be earned by clearing the quests given by said character.

The new Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot screenshots are included in the gallery below. I was honestly pretty skeptical about the game at first but it looks better and better now. I'm looking forward to what CyberConnect 2 has in store.

Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot  is coming out on January 17 on PC, Xbox One and PS4. You can check the latest trailer and gameplay videos here and here. The game can be preordered on Amazon.
