Inti Creates revealed that their Switch exclusive 2D action platformer Dragon: Marked for Death will be delayed from its winter 2017 release to sometime in 2018.

The developer gave a statement on the delay saying-via Twitter, "We wanted to give everyone an update on the release timeframe for Dragon: Marked for Death. The team is working day and night to make this game the absolute best it it can be, and thus, the game will now release sometime in 2018. Thank you very much for your patience."

Dragon: Marked for Death is set in a dark fantasy world where players will be able to play solo or with up to three players for online co-op. The game follows a team of characters who make a pact with dragons in order to gain access to new abilities and skills.

The game features multiple job classes to pick during gameplay which will allow each player to play a different role in battles. These classes range from Warriors to Witches and can each be leveled up through the game's RPG systems.

Additionally, the game is being developed by key members of the Mega Man Zero and Mega Man ZX development staff. Meaning that Dragon: Marked for Death has brought this team back together to produce a new IP with Inti Creates for fans to enjoy.

Inti Creates will provide an update when a more precise release date is considered.
