Today Square Enix celebrated the appearance of the reviews of Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age with a brand new trailer.

The trailer basically includes a beautiful cutscene showcasing the prologue of the game, giving a glimpse of what happened before, and on the origins of the luminary.

Considering that you probably have already seen the quality of the game's CG cutscenes, you probably know just how good this is.

You can check it out below. If you want to see more about the game, you can enjoy a video dedicated to the castanother trailer revealed during the Square Enix E3 2018 showcase and some recent gameplay showing a boss battle. You can also hear more from Producer Hokuto Okamoto-san in our recent interview, and read our review still piping hot from the oven.

Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age launches in North America and Europe on PS4 and PC on September 4th, and can already be pre-ordered on Amazon. The Nintendo Switch version is coming as well, but at the moment we have no idea on when it will be released or even exactly what it will look like (besides the fact that it's based on the Ps4 version). We haven’t seen a single screenshot of it, and all we know is that it’s going to take a while.
