Today Media Create released its detailed analysis of last week's sales in the Japanese market, and underlined the rather spectacular success of Dragon Quest Builders.

We learn that of the 45,114 PS Vita units sold in Japan last week, 18,000 were of the lovely metallic PS Vita bundle, that came with the console, the game, and a metal slime USB cover.

The research firm also reports the following really high percentages of sales compared to the game's initial shipment from Square Enix: PS Vita: 82.89%, PS4: 85.36%, PS3: 89.44%.

Looks like Square Enix's bet of merging Minecraft and its popular Dragon Quest series has paid off. Hopefully, this will encourage them to release the game in the west too.
