Square Enix revealed some new gameplay footage of their upcoming action RPG title, Dragon Quest Heroes.

Knowing the franchise’s strong JRPG background, the company seems to be making strides to incorporate action-RPG mechanics, as well as Dragon Quest-unique features, into the gameplay. For instance, the fighters can use special Arts-like skills during combat, which are stronger than normal attacks. The protagonist also demonstrated his Super High Tension form, giving him access to increased attack power and a special finisher.
