Following the announcement during Yesterday’s Nintendo Switch presentation, Square Enix released the first trailer and screenshots of Dragon Quest I – II for Nintendo Switch.

Incidentally, the compilation has also been confirmed as a launch title for Japan, and it will release alongside the Switch on March 3rd. Of course, no announcement has been made for the west just yet.

The Switch edition will get a new character, showcased in the new assets, and it’s Ragnar McRyan from Dragon Quest IV. A new boss will also appear, in the form of Malroth (Sydow) from Dragon Quest II.

We also learn that those who will purchase the game at launch will receive a special Dragon Quest II Hero Costume for the main male and female characters.
