Dragon Quest Heroes' Western Release on PS4/PS3 Undecided, But Will Be Considered; Gets Fluffy Mascot

The upcoming action RPG Dragon Quest Heroes has surprised Japan with the return of the franchise to PlayStation consoles, but we still don’t know if it’ll actually come west.

The game’s producer Ryutaro Ichimura mentioned on Twitter that a western localization of the game is undecided, but will be considered.

On the other hand, the game got a cutesy, fluffy mascot named “Homiron,” and we got to see two pictures of His Majesty the Slime.

We can only hope to hear news about a western localization soon. Square Enix has always been excessively reticent in bringing the Dragon Quest franchise west, and it’s definitely time for this to change.

He is also one of the few surviving fans of the flight simulator genre on Earth.
