During a stage event from Jump Festa in Tokyo, Dragon Quest X Producer Yosuke Saito introduced the gameplay of the PS4 version of the successful MMORPG.

You can check out the videos below, recorded directly from the livestream.

During the panel we also learned that the PS4 version of the game will come with improved graphics compared to the already released platforms, including better lighting, draw distance, character textures and 3D models. It will run at 1080p, 60 FPS.

You can see a comparison below, with the PS4 version showcased on top.

Saito-san also mentioned that it isn't yet time to see the Nintendo Switch version of the game, but confirmed once more that it's in active development, and will be showcased at a later time.

No release date was announced for the PS4 version (which was announced over a year ago, in July 2015), even if it should come relatively soon. The game is currently available on Wii, Wii U and PC in Japan.

If you're wondering, no word has been said about a western release of the game as well, but that will probably surprise absolutely no one.

If you're more interested about the upcoming single player JRPG Dragon Quest XI, a ton of assets including a trailer and videos from the PS4 and the 3DS versions have been revealed today, and you can see them here.
