Dragon Quest XI for PS4 and 3DS Is a No Show at 30th Anniversary Livestream (UPDATED)

Square Enix is hosting the 30th anniversary livestream of the Dragon Quest series, and many expected some brand new gameplay footage or at lest information about Dragon Quest XI.

The published decided not to keep the fans sitting at the edge of their seat for too long, and right at the beginning of the stream, it was mentioned that there won’t be any new information or footage about the eleventh chapter of the series.

Dragon Quest XI will release on both PS4 and 3DS, but the two versions will use completely different engines and will be developed by different teams.

Update: the only small mention of the game was a tease that seemed to imply that Square Enix plans to release the game before May 27th, 2017.
