Today Square Enix updated the official website of Dragon Quest XI with a large batch of screenshots from the PS4 and 3DS versions of Dragon Quest XI.

The screenshots showcase the "Zone," a state of improved focus that increases one's abilities temporarily. It allows for powerful counterattacks and more, but it's not only for party members, as enemies can utilize it too.

Further screenshots showcase the "Skillchains" (Renkei), which is a combination of the powers of different party members, which lets the player unleash powerful attacks.

You can check out the screenshots below, from both the 3DS and PS4 versions of the game.
