Today Square Enix updated the official site of Dragon Quest XI with a new batch of screenshots.

We get to see the “mysterious blacksmith” system, that allows players to create and enhance items with their own hands.

First of all, the player needs to find the recipe and materials, then he can use the mysterious blacksmithing at a camp, and finally he will receive new accessories. It’s also possible to use the facilities at the camp to improve items.

You can check out all the screenshots below and if you want to see more of Dragon Quest XI, you can enjoy gameplay from the PS4 version, some from the 3DS versionnew screenshots and trailers, and the box art for both the PS4 and 3DS versions, on top of quite a few screenshots featuring recently announced characters and some featuring the old dear Spell of Restoration and the Skill Panea few featuring skillchains, and more showcasing monster mounts. The special 2DS XL and PS4 dedicated to the game have also been revealed, while pre-orders in Japan appear to be doing great.

Dragon Quest XI will come on July 29th for PS4 and 3DS, with a Nintendo Switch release also planned, but left without a release window, for the moment.
