Today Square Enix finally released Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age in North America and Europe, and it's time to celebrate the arrival of a classic JRPG paired with modern technology. That's definitely a rarity nowadays.

In order to do so, the publisher released a spiffy launch trailer showcasing the beautiful cutscenes that characterize the narration of Dragon Quest XI, providing another glimpse at the colorful cast of characters who will accompany us in this new adventure.

Having already completed the game for my review, I have to encourage you not to sleep on this one if you love JRPGs. I've seen many call for a return to classic themes and mechanics, and it's time to show support for a game that does exactly that.

You can check out the trailer below. If you want to see more about the game, you can enjoy a trailer showing the prologue, a video dedicated to the castanother trailer revealed during the Square Enix E3 2018 showcase and some recent gameplay showing a boss battle.

Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age launched today in North America and Europe on PS4 and PC and you can grab a copy on Amazon. A Nintendo Switch version is coming as well, but at the moment we have no idea on when it will be released or even exactly what it will look like (besides the fact that it’s based on the PS4 version).
