During a livestreamed presentation from Tokyo, Square  Enix  showcased the final Japanese box art of Dragon Quest XI.

The box art was shown for both PS4 and 3DS, and you can see it below for both platforms. The standard PS4 version will cost 8,980 yen plus taxes, while the 3DS version will be cheaper, costing 5,980 yen plus taxes.

Early purchase bonuses have also been showcased, in the form of two outfits that increase experience and gold earned from battle, especially useful during the early stages of the game.

On top of the standard edition, the game will also get a "Double Pack: Yuusha no Tsurugi Box" (Sword of the Hero Box) edition. It will cost 14,960 yen plus taxes and it'll include both the 3DS and PS4 versions of the game.

Dragon Quest XI will launch in Japan for PS4 and 3DS on July 29th, 2017. A Nintendo Switch version has also been announced, but no information has been provided about that.
