The excellent JRPG and newest entry into the classic series Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age just received a release window of 2019 for the Switch inside of a newly released trailer. Bad news though, this is just the Japanese version. There is currently no western release date/release window yet.

Good news: the Nintendo Switch makes it incredibly easy to switch regions and download titles that are only available in certain regions. So if all else fails and the game is only released in Japan, users will still be able to access the game.

The Switch version, actually titled Dragon Quest XI S, will be packed with more content than the previous versions of the game, including the addition of voice-over. You can watch the new trailer for the game below.

Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age is currently available for PS4, PC, and 3DS with the Switch version coming sometime next year to Japan. There is still no western release date as of yet. Make sure to check out DualShockers' review of the excellent JRPG. If you don't want to wait around for the Switch version coming outside of Japan, you can order the game right now through Amazon.
