Dragon Quest XI’s Story Is Almost Complete According to Series' Creator Yuji Horii

During Dragon Quest‘s 30th anniversary livestream from Tokyo, series creator Yuji Horii could not avoid sharing a little bit of information about Dragon Quest XI, despite the fact that it was mentioned that the game would not appear at the show.

Horii-san mentioned in passing that the story of the game is almost complete, but it’s taking time because there’s a lot of content.

It’ll be interesting to see whether the game, which is planned to launch for PS4 and 3DS (a release for Nintendo’s NX is also being considered), will really make it within the year of the 30th anniversary, as Hoji also appears to have teased during the livestream.
