Dragon’s Crown Pro for PS4 Gets New Trailer Showing Beautiful 2D Visuals and More

Dragon’s Crown Pro for PS4 looks absolutely stellar in a new trailer, showing that 2D graphics can age really, really well.

Today Atlus released a new trailer of Vanillaware’s Dragon’s Crown Ps4 remaster Dragon’s Crown Pro.

The first thing you’ll notice is, of course, the beautiful 2D visuals, highlighting the charming art style of Vanillaware President George Kamitani.

The video also showcases the features included in the game, which are pretty much the same as the original game on PS3 and PS Vita.

Speaking of Sony’s older consoles, they won’t be left out, as players with the original version will be able to enjoy full cross-play with those that will purchase the remaster on PS4.

You can check the trailer out below. If you want to see more, you can also enjoy the first trailer, the first gameplay videos, and the first screenshots. If you’re unfamiliar with the game, you should also take a look at my original review of the PS3 version from 2013. Considering that the features aren’t really changed besides a bunch of updates, it’s still very much valid nowadays.

Dragon’s Crown Pro will release in Japan on February 8th, 2018 exclusively for PS4. At the moment, no western release has been announced. We can only hope that Atlus USA will bring this stateside because I need it.
