Fans of the original Dragon’s Dogma have been asking for an updated version on current generation consoles for along while (and for a sequel, but that’s a different story), and Capcom has finally delivered.

At long last Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen released today on PS4 and Xbox One, and to celebrate this momentous occasion, Capcom also launched a brand new trailer for the game.

The video is as epic as you expect, giving us another glimpse on the upgraded visuals running on current-gen machines. While the difference isn’t massive, the re-release is certainly very welcome.

You can check out the trailer below, and if you want to see more about the game, you can also enjoy some recent screenshots. You can learn about the game’s vocations by checking out a trailer about warrior-based ones, a video showing archer-based vocations, and one for mage-based vocations. More interesting footage is also included in a video comparing PS4 and PS3 graphics, and another showcasing the character creation.

Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen released today on current generation consoles (PS4 and Xbox One) in North America and Europe. The western release actually came a few days in before the Japanese launch, which will happen on October 5th.
