While April is already looking like a big month for anticipated crossovers like Avengers: Endgame later this month, another crossover that seems a bit on the unexpected side has been confirmed, this time between Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes and the upcoming Nintendo Switch version of Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen.

In a video presentation on upcoming new features and content for the most recent No More Heroes title, Goichi Suda (aka Suda51) confirmed that a crossover event will take place for both Travis Strikes Again and Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen to coincide with the latter game's launch on Switch this month.

Specifically, Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen will feature a Pawn (summonable characters that can aid the player in battle) based on Travis Touchdown, which will also include his signature beam katana weapon from the No More Heroes games.

In return, Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes will be getting a new T-shirt featuring the Dragon's Dogma logo, allowing players to deck out Travis with a shirt from the cult classic Capcom RPG.

While this isn't the type of collaboration that would immediately come to mind, it's still a fun bit of crossover between two cult hit titles, and given that the DLC for both games will be free, it's a nice incentive for players to check it out with Dragon's Dogma's release on the Switch next week.

Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes is available now on Nintendo Switch, while Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen will be coming to the platform on April 23, 2019.
