Dream Daddy: Dadrector's Cut will be coming to the PlayStation 4 on October 30, 2018, allowing console owners everywhere to date their favorite dad.

First released on July 20, 2017, Dream Daddy: A Dad Dating Simulator came out on PC to very positive reviews. In it players took on the role of a single father who recently moved into a new neighborhood full of other hot bachelor dads. Over the course of play you would spend time with the other hot dads, learning about their lives and choosing who you wanted to enter into a relationship with that led to various endings.

Those who own Dream Daddy on Steam will also be getting a free update bringing cut content, new sidequests, and the ability to replay minigames that will be included with Dream Daddy: Dadrector's Cut.

You and your daughter have just moved into the sleepy seaside town of Maple Bay only to discover that everyone in your neighborhood is a single, dateable Dad! Will you go out with Teacher Dad? Goth Dad? Bad Dad? Or any of the other cool Dads in this game? With a variety of paths and endings, Dream Daddy: A Dad Dating Simulator hopes to be the year’s most anticipated Dad-based game for the second year in a row.

Dream Daddy received its very own comic book August of this year that was produced by Oni Press (of Scott Pilgrim fame) and featured five issues of 18-23 pages of full color Dad on Dad action.

Developer Game Grumps are better known for their YouTube channel in which Dan Avidan and Arin Hanson play video games than making them. The idea for Dream Daddy came during a Disneyland trip and the release of Hatoful Boyfriend. Vernon Shaw (writer), Leighton Gray (writer), Tyler Hutchinson (director), Jesse Cale (composer), and Jory Griffis (narrative designer) were the main team behind the game. It enjoyed many nominations for end of the year awards, including a hotly contested spot on Giant Bomb's Best Game list.
