Today we heard the heartbreaking news of the closure of Evolution Studios, and after releasing statements commenting on the situation, Game Director Paul Rustchynsky and Community Manager Jamie Brayshaw followed up thanking the fans for the overwhelming messages of support they received.

It’s definitely good to see them talk about a bright future, and to hear talks of a “road ahead.” Hopefully we’ll hear something about their plans in the near future.

The studio’s many fans did indeed shower Rustchynsky and Brayshaw with support and even simple messages of thanks for the hard work they have done. Below you can check out a few examples among the many (Videos are courtesy of YouTube users Ziarekenya Smith and Andrey7465).

Personally, I’d like to join everyone else in thanking the good folks at Evolution Studios for their hard work. Driveclub provided me with years of fun, and it’s definitely a game I won’t forget any time soon.
