Driveclub: New Car and Tour Revealed; PlayStation Plus Version in “Final Stages of Development”

on June 10, 2015 3:27 PM

Today we got some interesting new information about PS4 exclusive Driveclub from its official Twitter account and Game Director Paul Rustchynsky.

First of all, a collaboration with Velocity developer Futurlab has been announced with a piece of artwork of one of the tour packs coming this month, aptly named Velocity tour pack.

Interestingly, the artwork also basically reveals the free car that we’re going to get this month, which is the Peugeot EX1 concept car, portrayed in the picture. Its front is pretty much impossible to mistake.

Secondly, the much awaited PlayStation Plus Edition of the game seems to be finally close to a release:

Apparently, though, Evolution isn’t ready to talk about what will come after the end of the season pass:

Rustchynsky himself won’t be at E3, even if it’s possible that some announcement related to Driveclub might come anyway.

If you’re looking forward to know what new DLC cars we’ll get this month, the announcement will come next week:

Speaking about cars, looks like fans of Japanese cars have something to look forward to:

Now, I’m sure you’ll excuse me, but being a fan of Japanese cars myself, I have a bottle of Champagne to uncork.
