Driveclub Will Get More Variety in Online Races Tomorrow; Weather Coming When it’s Balanced

With the servers still suffering from connectivity issues and hiccups, Evolution Studios is still at work on solving them, and is also sharing more information on Twitter.

Many have been complaining about the lack of variety in online races, and luckily change is coming:

There are more than 6 events in rotation but you can only choose 1 of 6 at any one time.Races will be updated 22/10 with more variety.

We are changing the way that events appear in rotation to offer more variety. More info on that soon.

We also learn that balancing is required before the weather patch can be released:

As soon as it’s balanced for all cars & tracks, later this year.

Finally, the developer also denied that the delay of the game and the server issues that surfaced at launch are in any way connected:

We are working flat out on it Jack, the extra year in development was unrelated. Server performance issue started at launch.

Today marks the beginning of the third week after the game’s launch, and hopefully things are heading towards a solution. Driveclub can be an awesome game when everything works, but the problems are starting to drag longer than many expected.
