DualCast Level 10 – Do JRPGs Belong in the RPG Genre?

We finally hit double-digits on the DualCast! Join us this week for our tenth episode, as Al, Jessica, Jon, Kenneth, Yaris and myself all discuss a topic that seems to be on a lot of people’s minds still – Are JRPGs really even RPGs at all? We delve deep into that discussion, talking about things from both sides of the fence. After that, we talk about length and difficulty in games – is it a good thing or a bad thing? To wrap things up in our section on RPG mechanics we discuss customization and how important it is to have in the RPGs we play.
