Hey everyone! My apologies for getting our DualCast up a day later than usual, there were some uncontrollable forces involved in the delay. But, it’s here and we have a great episode for you to pick apart this week. Joel, Jon, Tyler, our new writer Alix and myself all talk about some game design concepts that don’t seem to similar on the surface, but really can be related to each other. We discuss the surge of retro-style RPGs as of late, as well as various RPG battle systems and what we enjoy the most. Then the conversation gets down and dirty with an in-depth conversation about co-op mechanics in our single-player RPGs – is it a good or bad thing?
