This week was, like the previous one, particularly full of announcements, especially with the coverage of the Xbox Spring Showcase and the Nintendo Direct. 1 - Xbox’s Phil Spencer Responds to Epic Games’ Tim Sweeney’s Attack on Universal Windows Platform

During the Xbox Spring Showcase, Xbox Division Head Phil Spencer focused on what Microsoft calls the "Universal Windows Platform": bringing Xbox One and Windows 10 together under the same ecosystem. In an article published in The Guardian this week, Epic Games Founder Tim Sweeney heavily criticized Microsoft's move and argued that it would go against the whole PC industry and gamer themselves. 2 - PS4 System Software Update 3.50 “Musashi” Gets First Screenshots Showing Online Notifications and More

The beta testing phase for the PS4 upcoming software update 3.50 "Musashi" has already started. The Japanese arm of Sony Computer Entertainment shared through a press release the first screenshots showcasing the new keys features the software update will be bringing. 4 - Uncharted 4’s New Night Map “Rooftops” Looks Great; Check it Out in 1080p Screenshots Aplenty

Naughty Dog and Sony Computer Entertainment launched this Friday the stress test for Uncharted 4: A Thief's End's multiplayer mode. This stress test brought a new element that wasn't included in the closed beta which is a beautiful "rooftops" night map. Our very own Giuseppe got to try out (and fail miserably at doing so) the multiplayer mode: you can check out plenty of 1080p screenshots from this new map as well as from the Island and Madagascar City maps.

5 - Recent Sony Survey Might Hint that “PlayStation Plus Bonus” Could Be Extended to New Countries

In a recent survey, Sony Computer Entertainment mentioned a few new features that might be considered in the future for the PlayStation Plus service. What you may not know is that these features are actually already offered in a few countries like Italy, under the name PlayStation Plus Bonus.
