Dungeons & Dragons Online Beyond the Web Videos Introduce Forgotten Realms

Dungeons & Dragons Online will soon receive its Menace of the Underdark expansion, carrying the game over to the old and glorious Forgotten Realms setting, and Turbine published two new videos to introduce the expansion.

The first is a trailer in developer diary form, giving us a glimpse of the work that has gone into creating Menace of the Underdark, the second is actually the first episode of a series of four that will introduce the Forgotten Realms campaign setting.

Personally, I always felt that the relatively dull Eberron setting was one of the reasons why the game didn’t take off as it could have. Hopefully the introduction of a more prestigious setting will work better. Now, if only someone would create a MMORPG set in Dragonlance, I’d be a happy man. In the meanwhile you can check out both videos below.
