From its grungy visuals to its fast-paced first-person gameplay, Dusk harkens back to the era of retro shooters and feels like it came straight from the '90s. The FPS by New Blood Interactive has been around on PC for some time, but now the game will finally be bringing its hectic, blood-soaked gameplay to Switch this fall.

During the first part of the Guerrilla Collective showcase, developer New Blood Interactive announced that Dusk will be coming to Nintendo Switch on October 31, 2020, right in time for Halloween. Given the subject matter of the game, it happens to be an extremely appropriate release date.

Dusk first released on PC in 2018 in multiple episodes, with later ports to Mac and Linux. When initially released, Dusk drew praise for its inspiration from classic first-person shooters like DOOM while wrapping it around an experience where players are fighting off hordes of cultists in the most badass ways possible.

While the trailer itself was brief, those looking for a fast-paced retro shooter on the Switch will likely find a lot to like from New Blood's title, which should make for a fun (and bloody) Switch game.

Dusk is available now on PC, Mac, and Linux, and will be coming to Nintendo Switch on October 31, 2020.
