Dust: An Elysian Tail was well-known for its lengthy development time under its creator/developer Dean Dodrill, with the game taking over four years of production. Luckily, it seems the hard work payed off for Dodrill and company as the game has hit a rather significant milestone.

In a tweet sent out by developer Dean Dodrill, it was revealed that Dust: An Elysian Tail has sold over one million copies across Xbox 360, PC, Mac, and Linux. With the game having originally launched in 2012 on XBLA, the game expanded to PC/Mac/Linux in later months and was even included in the latest edition of The Humble Bundle alongside other indie hits like Fez, Guacamelee! Gold Edition, and Monaco: What's Yours is Mine, culminating in sales of just over 470,000 bundle packages so far.

Dust: An Elysian Tail is available on XBLA for Xbox 360, and through Steam for PC, Mac, and Linux.
