The PlayStation 3 exclusive, Dust514, will be receiving an update in “early October” that will completely redo the game’s objective-based tutorial system as well as allow players the ability to find and join squads.
Here is what CCP Games’ Senior Game Designer Matthew Woodward had said on the European PlayStation Blog about the redone tutorials:
“Our target audience is, for the most part, gamers who are familiar with other console first-person shooters and want to try something a little more interesting. This led us to focus primarily on teaching the differences between Dust and other FPS games, rather than trying to teach people, for example, what a gun is and how to move around. The tutorials will focus on how to join battles, proper outfitting of gear (dropsuits) and training skills.
Dust514 is a free-to-play multiplayer shooter that is available now, exclusively through the PlayStation Network on PlayStation 3.
