Today Sega released a new trailer for its upcoming mobile game Dx2 Shin Megami Tensei: Liberation.

The trailer showcases the opening cutscene of the game, created in lovely anime style. It shows the members of the "Liberators Tokyo Branch" as they battle against the mysterious organization named "Acolytes."

The game is a mobile take on the Shin Megami Tensei series with augmented reality features that will pretty much work like Pokémon GO.

We also learn that the game accrued 250,000 pre-registrations in Japan as of today.

Dx2 Shin Megami Tensei: Liberation has been officially announced for Japan, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macau. That being said, Sega is planning to launch it worldwide, so further territories will be disclosed at a later time.
