Originally scheduled to launch on October 13th, Techland has now confirmed that Dying Light 2's Bloody Ties DLC will be delayed by a month, and is now scheduled to release on November 10th.

A short announcement was made via the official Dying Light Twitter account, which reads "We have taken the decision to postpone the launch of Bloody Ties until November 10th, to allow the team extra time to polish and squash bugs". The developers then state that any community questions can be placed on the official Dying Light Discord channel, and will be answered this Friday at 6PM CEST.

Bloody Ties was originally scheduled to release back in June of this year, before being delayed to September. In a statement earlier this year, Techland said "We will still need a bit more time to develop the first story DLC. It is now planned to be released in September". The DLC was then set for October, as opposed to the originally announced September release window, and has now been delayed once again to November 10th.

Despite the unfortunate delay, Techland has previously stated that they will be supporting Dying Light 2 for up to 5 years, with a second story DLC already in the works.

The first teaser trailer for the Bloody Ties DLC was released back in August, followed by a full reveal at Gamescom 2022 a week later. It will be the first official story DLC for Dying Light 2, and will include a brand new adventure for players to embark on, including a new location, new weapons, new gear, and plenty more. Bloody Ties is included as part of the Dying Light 2 Deluxe and Ultimate Editions, but can also be purchased individually for $9.99 USD or £7.99 GBP.

Owners of the Deluxe and Ultimate Editions of Dying Light 2, or anybody who pre-orders the Bloody Ties DLC, will receive a special Aristocrat pack, which includes the Aristocrat Guard Outfit and the Aristocrat Weapon.

Dying Light 2 fans can pre-order the Bloody Ties DLC via the PlayStation Store, Xbox Store, Steam, and the Nintendo Switch eShop.
