Dying Light 2 is all set to launch very soon, but the game has been around a fresh round of debate about its completion time in the past few days.

It's been a while since the game was announced, and after some delays, it is all set to release next month. As fans were eagerly waiting for the game to release, the developers revealed some information a couple of days ago which sparked a debate.

The developers stated that the game will take roughly 500 hours to complete, which is similar to the time taken to walk from Warsaw to Madrid. Now while that is good news for players who love expansive worlds, many were not too happy with the decision and they criticized the developers for bloating the game with too much content.

Dying Light 2 Devs Clarify Previous Completion Time Estimates

Consequently, the developers had to issue a clarification, which was in fact pretty obvious from the very beginning. In a

" rel="nofollow">tweet, the developers clarify that to complete just the main story, you will need around 20 hours, which is quite a fair amount of time for the title. Additionally, if you want to finish the side quests on top of the main story, you need to invest around 80 hours.

So where does the 500-hour figure fit in? Well, if you are one of the completionists who want to remove every icon from the map, then you might need to put in a lot of time. For maxing out the game, along with all choices, endings, collectibles, and dialogues, players will need a whopping 500 hours. Now that makes a lot of sense, and players are already quite elated to know the updated, or rather, clarified completion time figures.
