Previously, some players had reported that the fast travel system doesn't work properly after finishing the main campaign. With this update, you will no longer face that problem.

Below, you can check out the patch notes:

Dying Light 2 PS4/PS5 Update Patch Notes

  • Fixed the death-loop issue. New cases shouldn't appear anymore and the old ones should be resolved.
  • Added Backup Save system that allows you to roll back your progress (including your inventory) to the last working story savepoint.
  • Fixed some audio issues on PlayStation 4.
  • Fixed fast travel. Now works as intended after the main story has been finished.
  • Added improvements related to stability.

Unfortunately, this patch doesn't fix any of the existing problems in the co-op mode of the game. That being said, the developer revealed on Twitter that investigation on co-op bugs is still ongoing and a fix will arrive soon.

This update is currently available for PlayStation consoles, but a similar patch will be released for Xbox as well in the near future.

Dying Light 2 is now available on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, and PC. The Nintendo Switch version of the game has been delayed indefinitely, probably launching in six months.
