At the Square Enix E3 2019 press conference, a new trailer for Techland's zombie-slaying parkour game Dying Light 2 was shown.

The trailer itself is very brief. About a whole minute's worth of footage we have seen before gives us a good look at the parkour gameplay we've come to know from the initial release. Allowing you to essentially traverse the world the way you want, you'll be sliding, diving, and swinging across The City as you fight (or avoid) any threat, both undead and living.

At the Xbox E3 2019 Briefing, a new trailer was revealed for Dying Light 2 giving us some background information on the game's post-apocalyptic location The City and the protagonist Aiden. The virus is not only infecting the citizens of The City, it has basically torn society apart. The survival mindset that has infected those who haven't turned have changed people for the worse, but Aiden won't let that, in his words, "turn me into an animal."

The ending of the trailer also revealed that Dying Light 2 is set to launch sometime in spring 2020 for Xbox One, PS4, and PC. At last year's E3, we got to see the game behind closed doors and it thoroughly impressed us with its branching story and unique gameplay. In our preview, we said, "if Techalnd can deliver on this dynamic experience, there is no doubt this will influence games going forward."
