After a bumpy ride since its announcement, Dying Light is finally releasing in February. Just before the game's release next month, the developers have shared some interesting details about the game.
Dying Light 2 Will Take Over 500 Hours To Complete
The developers of UPDATE:
" rel="nofollow">Dying Light 2 have revealed that players will need to dedicate at least 500 hours to be able to complete the game. The moment this was announced, fans just can't get enough of the fact that the game is loaded with so much content. The previous game already offered quite an expansive experience, and it is good to see the sequel building upon the success of the first game.
500 hours is related to maxing out the game - finishing all the quests, endings, and exploring every part of the world, but a regular player should finish the story + side quests and do quite a lot of exploring in less than 100 hours, so don't worry! 𥰠https://t.co/4R641zkLpg
To further emphasize how big the game is, the developers state that the time is equal to what it takes to walk from Warsaw to Madrid. Now as with most announcements, this also had a number of players expressing their reservations against it.
Many believe that 500 hours is too much for a game, and the game might feel dragged due to the same. However, it should be noted that this is strictly for completionists. If you are one of the players who is looking to just complete the story, it will likely be less than a tenth of that number. With the game releasing in less than a month, we should be learning more about it pretty soon.
