Coming off the success of its zombie action game Dying Light last year, developer Techland has already teased that it has several more projects in the works for the future, while the studio has also announced it will be expanding into games publishing as well.

In a press release, Techland announced that the studio will also be expanding into international publishing, following the company's 20 years of experience in development and previous publishing experience in the Central and Eastern European markets.

Techland CEO Paweł Marchewka explained in a statement that following the success of the studio's recent projects like Dying Light and its expansion, "The Following," the studio believes "this is the perfect time to use everything we've learned and help other developers."

Specifically, Marchewka added that "we believe in a flexible and open publishing philosophy, based on respect for the players," with Techland aiming to "encourage and financially support developers through investing in bold, unconventional games with great entertainment value."

As part of its statement, Techland added that the studio's goal as a publisher is to "release 2 major multiplatform titles, and 4 in digital distribution each year," with the company "already scanning the market for opportunities" and the first title that will be published by the company to be announced "soon."
